These terms cover accounts, subscriptions, AI outputs, sourcing, acceptable use, ownership, and the limits of the service.
Trekky helps organize your search. You remain responsible for applications, documents, offers, negotiations, and decisions.
By using Trekky, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to create an account. You may use Trekky for your own personal or professional job search, or on behalf of someone else only with their permission.
If you are a consumer in New Zealand, you may have rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and other applicable laws. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights where it would be unlawful to do so.
Trekky is a web app that helps you organize and track your job search using a private pipeline, reminders, AI tools, document generation, sourcing, interview prep, and compensation workflows.
Trekky is not a recruiting service, employer, job placement agency, legal adviser, financial adviser, or career adviser. We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, compensation outcomes, or career results.
When using Trekky, you agree not to:
We may suspend or end access if these rules are seriously or repeatedly violated.
You own the content you add to Trekky, including application details, resumes, notes, links, salary data, and generated documents.
You give us permission to store, process, and display that content as needed to operate the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload or use any content you provide.
Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
AI-generated resumes, cover letters, classifications, prep notes, and research are automated drafts. They may contain mistakes. You must review every output for truthfulness and accuracy before using it.
Do not use Trekky to misrepresent your experience, skills, identity, employment history, or qualifications.
The sourcing agent is opt-in. It surfaces public job listings for your convenience, but we do not guarantee that listings are accurate, current, still open, or free of errors. Always verify a role at its original source before applying.
Compensation estimates and underpayment insights in Ledger are rough informational estimates, not financial advice or a guarantee of market value.
Trekky may change, break, or be unavailable from time to time. We work to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or 24/7 availability.
We may update, pause, or discontinue parts of the service. If we discontinue the service, where reasonably practicable we will give advance notice and an opportunity to export your data.
Paid features require a subscription, billed in USD through Stripe. Current plan details and pricing are shown on the Pricing page.
If pricing changes, we will give reasonable advance notice and changes will apply from a future renewal. You can cancel before a change takes effect.
Trekky is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits or data, arising from your use of Trekky.
Our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Trekky is a closed-source proprietary project. The source code is not publicly available for viewing, copying, redistribution, or reuse.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the source code of any part of the service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes relating to these Terms or the service will be resolved by the courts of New Zealand, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will publish the revised terms and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in-app message.
