Is Trekky only for software engineers?
Trekky is designed around engineering job searches, but it also works well for technical roles like data, AI, DevOps, SRE, QA, IT, product engineering, and platform roles. The workflows are built for technical interviews, take-homes, stacks, recruiter loops, and follow-ups.
Can I use Trekky instead of a spreadsheet?
Yes. Trekky is built to replace the messy spreadsheet workflow with a visual pipeline, reminders, notes, interview tracking, AI follow-up help, and role-specific preparation in one place.
Is Trekky free?
The core app is free during beta, including the tracker, boards, role capture, document tools, interview prep, calendar tools, and a monthly AI allowance. No card is required to start. An optional Pro plan raises the monthly AI limits when paid plans are available, and Trekky never charges without you completing checkout.
Does Trekky apply to jobs for me?
No. Trekky helps you organise, prepare, follow up, and manage your search. You stay in control of where you apply, what you send, and who you contact.
Can I use Trekky on my phone?
Yes. Use Trekky in your mobile browser, or add it to your home screen from a supported browser for an app-style window. Sign in with the same account on your phone and computer. You need an internet connection to load and update your job data.
Can I import my spreadsheet or export my jobs?
Yes. In the dashboard's Table view, use Import CSV to bring in applications from a spreadsheet, or Export CSV to download your job list. Exports include core details such as company, position, stage, location, and the job listing URL.
